(3) The LEL adopted value for methane varies by country. The monitor integrates two
different LEL values for CH4 (4.4% vol. and 5.0% vol.)
5.3 Sensor calibration menu
Calibration consists of a zero adjustment in clean air (free from any gases that could be
detected by the gas monitor), as well as a sensitivity adjustment using calibration gas of
concentration between 15% and 100% of the full sensor range. Test gas shall be applied at a
60 liters per hour flow rate.
