3. Handling and use
Before use
Make yourself familiar with all operation elements of your applicator before you attempt
to test the applicator and go into practice.
TeleDart
®
RD206 can be constructed for right- and lefthanded users, which allows to
order your applicator according to your individual requirements.
Before shipment, all TeleDart
®
applicators are tested at a distance of 15m (16
yds)
using a
TeleDart
®
Dart Syringe 3cc
.
For your training we recommed to fill the dart with water and to use a training needle
TN1530. In that case it is not necessary to pressurize the dart syringe. If you have to
work with other dart volumes, please proceed in the same way. In order to always
guarantee the best ballistics, the syringe dart has to be filled completely. Note down all
pressure values and make your individual pressure table.
Assembling

Safety
Check if the trigger safety is pushed in. The red ring must not be visible.

Inserting of the CO2-cartridge
Unscrew the cartridge holder and insert a CO2-cartridge. Tighten up the cartridge
holder until the cartridge is tapped.
Only replace open cartridges if they are completely empty. Further all safety
advices marked on the packing of the CO2-cartridges are valid. TeleDart
®
does
not assume any liability for damages and injuries caused by improper handling
of CO2-cartridges.

Connecting the foot-airpump
The lateral tube connection is located on the lower part of the pistol grip. Latch the
hose of the foot-airpump with the hose connector. To unlatch the foot-airpump the
locking sleeve of the hose connector has to be pushed back until the hose unlatches.

Pressurizing
The applicator is pressurized if you push the pressure regulation knob down.
Observe
the gauge and release the knob when you have reached the desired pressure.
In case you have built up too much pressure, you can correct that easily. Just push the
pressure release valve until you have reached the desired pressure.
When pressurizing with the air pump, the air pump must be reconnected to build up
pressure after each shot.
The TeleDart
®
RD206 has a safety valve, which opens automatically if you
exceed the allowed maximum pressure of 10 bar (Version RD206-D at 6 bar).
The safety valve is engineered to protect your applicator from damages caused
by dangerous overpressure >
10
bar (> 6 bar RD206-D). The exceeding of the
particular maximum pressure into the red marked area of the manometer can
cause damages to your applicator. Damages to material, which are proven to be
caused by deliberate exceeding of the maximum pressure cease our guarantee!
We want to point out that a verifiable manipulation of the safety valve immediately
ceases our guarantee and in this case we do not assume any liabilityfor damages
to persons or material.
