Additional SIP door bell / SIP PA system connection
5.1. Operation without DHCP server
When operating without a DHCP server acces-
sible by the door intercom station, the door
intercom station must be set to static IP address
assignment. For this purpose, the housing of
the additional SIP door bell / SIP PA system
connection must be opened and the reconfigu-
ration described below must be carried out. To
do so, loosen the 6 screws on the bottom/base
and carefully open the bottom of the door inter-
com station.
Caution: Attachment parts of the
additional door bell/SIP PA system connection
are connected to the board on the bottom of the
housing by means of connection cables!
5.1.1. Switching to static IP address assignment
1. Press button T1 and you will hear
"Language English"
2. Press button T2 and you will hear
"Read IP address"
3. Press button T1 and you will hear
"Choose IP address setting"
4. Press button T2 to hear the device say
"dynamic"
5. Press button T1 to hear the device say "static"
6. Press button T2 to confirm the selection
Now, the Behnke SIP door intercom station
is set to a static IP address; its IP address
is 192.168.100.100 and its subnet mask is
255.255.255.0.
