4.11 DVD Setup
Press the
SETUP
key to activate the DVD setup menu.
It will be displayed the items of sub menus :

General Setup Page
: it is possible to change into this submenu the language, the video aspect ratio.

TV Display:
It selects the screen ratio aspect. If your DVD is not coded to allow to modify the TV screen
ratio, the display visualization mode, it could be possible to change.
The possible options are:
4:3 PS (
Pan Scan
)

4:3 LB (
Letter Box
)

16:9

Vision angle
: it activate ot not the angle vision for DVD disc that have this support

OSD Lang
: it allows to change OSD language
x
Captions
: they activate/deactivate the code subtitles

Screen Saver
: it activate/deactivate the screen saver
x
Last memory
: it activate/deactivate last memory during playing

Video Setting
: this option set the display parameters and the orientation of video.

Panel quality:
Using this option is possibile to set the following parameters:
Brightness, Sharpness,
Contrast, Color
and
Saturation.

Panel Inverse:
it is possible to arrange the panel orientation

Preferred setting

TV Type
It allows to select the standard for the TV connected:
-
NTSC.
If the TV connected uses the NTSC system select this option. In this mode the signal from a
PAL disc is modified into into NTSC output signal.
- PAL.
If the TV connected uses the PAL select this option. In this mode the signal from an NTSC disc is
modified into PAL output signal. .
- AUTO.
If the television connected is
multistandard
type select this mode. The output format will be
matched with the disc video signal.
It could be set from user the options
Audio
,
Subtitles
,
Menu Disc.
This options allow to select the used
language for DVD menu, the audio and subtitle language. This option will be kept for every DVD
inserted.

It set the default audio setting

Subtitles
It set the default subtitle language. For default subtitles are deactivated.

Menu disc
It set the language of disc menu.
WARNING!
For subtitles, audio and menu sometimes is possible to act only on DVD disc.
In case of another media support the setting could not change.

Parental Control:
inside the internal menu is possible to set the
Parental Control
level.
WARNING!
The function
Parental control
allows to set a limitation into DVD contents vision. Some DVD have an access
level different into DVD content vision or a part. The control level are from 1 to 8. With this setting is possible to
block the playing of certain discs or some scenes that have dangerous content for children.
WARNING!
Some DVD do not have any code control even if is printed on DVD case. As conseguence the parental control
for those discs could not work.

Default
Reset to the factory setting.

Password Modification:
to activate the protection using a password and modifying the old password, digit
the old password followed from two times the new password. Confirm using
OK
key.
