First steps
Setting up and connecting the device
The phone is designed for use in dry rooms in a temperature range of ±0°C to +45°C.

Set up the phone at a central point where a connection to the local network is available.

The following conditions must be observed:

If you want to establish a wireless connection using DECT, pay attention to the range of the
base station. This is up to 300 m in unobstructed outdoor areas and up to 50 m inside build-
ings.

If you wish to establish a connection with the local network using WLAN, please ensure that
the device is within range of the access point.
