If an event has occurred, the SESR bit corresponding to that event is set and

the event is placed in the event queue.

A bit corresponding to that event in the ESER has is set.

The SBR ESB bit is set to reflect the status of the ESER.

When a message is sent to the output queue, the SBR MAV bit is set.

Setting either the ESB or MAV bits in the SBR sets the respective bit in the

SRER.

When the SRER bit is set, the SBR MSS bit is set and a service request is

generated when using the GPIB interface.
