Performance Tests

TDS 820 Performance Verification

Press the main-menu button Mode; then press the side-menu
button Average 16.

Press DISPLAY.

Press the main-menu button Graticule; then press the side-menu
button Frame.

Press TRIGGER MENU.

H

Press the main-menu button Source; then press the side-menu
button Internal Clock.

H

Press MEASURE.

H

Press the main-menu button Select Measurement

H

Press the side-menu button more until the menu label Mean
appears in the side menu (its icon is shown at the left). Press the
side-menu button Mean.

H

Press CLEAR MENU.

Confirm input channels are within limits for voltage measurement accura-
cy: Do the following substeps — test CH 1 first, skipping substep a since
CH 1 is already set up to be checked from step 1.

Select an unchecked channel:

Press WAVEFORM OFF to remove the channel just confirmed
from the display. Then, press the front-panel button that corre-
sponds to the channel you are to confirm.
