To enable METER-CONNECT:
1. Press the
CONFIG
key.
2. Press the
OPER
key. The CONFIG V-SOURCE menu is displayed.
3. Select
METER-CONNECT
. Press the
ENTER
key.
4. Select
ON
to enable the internal voltage source LO to ammeter LO connection. Press the
ENTER
key.
The maximum common-mode input voltage (the voltage between input low and chassis
ground) is 500 V
PEAK
. To prevent electrical shock that could cause injury or death, do
not exceed this value.
Voltage source output connections
The voltage source output is accessed at the V SOURCE OUT LO and HI binding posts on the rear
panel, as shown in the following figure.

Using these terminals places the independent voltage source in series with the external circuit (R
