Status Reporting

5–12

2714 & 2715 Programmer Manual

After a status byte is read by the controller, the status byte is updated with
the highest priority condition which has not yet been reported.

All status conditions that have occurred but have not been reported (except
power on) can be cleared by a device clear (DCL) command.

Bit 5 is the current status of the message processor.
