Obtaining Replacement Parts
Most
electrical and mechanical
parts can
be obtained
through
your
local
Tektronix field
office or representative.
However, you should be
able
to
obtain
many
of
the
standard
electronic
components
from
a
local commercial source
in
your area. Before you
purchase
or
order
a
part from a
source
other than
Tektronix,
Inc.,
please check
the
Replaceable
Electrical
Parts
list for
the
proper value, rating,
tolerance
and
description.
It
is
best to
duplicate
the
original compo-
nent
as closely
as
possible. Parts orientation
andlead
dress
should be duplicated, since orientation
may
affect
circuit
interaction.
If a component
you
have
ordered
has
been
replaced
with
a
new
or
improved part, your
local Field Office
or
representative will
contact
you
concerning
the
change
in
the
part number.
Parts
Repair
and Exchange
Program

provide replacement
or
repair
service
on major
assemblies,
in
addition to the
unit
itself.
