Excess deposit of ice should be removed on a regular basis using a plastic ice scraper available from your local
store. Large accumulation of ice will impair the performance of the freezer.

If the freezer is not going to be used for a long period of time switch it off, remove all food, clean it and leave the lid

The temperature control has been set correctly.
