Recommendations for defrosting food
The defrost function works by means of a 2-
level system of hot air.
HI

general and
LO
is for fish, cakes, pastries and
bread.
•
When you select the
function (follow
the instructions in “Access cooking
functions”), the display will show:
•
Touch
or
to select the HI or LO
defrosting levels. Next, touch HI or LO to
accept.
•
Finally, you will hear 2 beeps confirming your
selection.
When defrosting, remember:
•
Food should be removed from its packaging
and placed on the oven tray or on a dish.
•
Defrost large cuts of meat or fish by placing
them on the grid shelf with a tray
underneath to collect any liquid.
•
Meat and fish do not need to be completely
thawed before cooking. It is enough for the
surface to be soft to enable it to be
seasoned.
•
Food should always be cooked after
defrosting.
•
Do not refreeze defrosted food.
