scale formation (due to water scale) is not covered by the warranty.

To minimize the appearance of scale, empty the water tank and allow it to dry
after each use.
Self-cleaning
We recommend using the self-cleaning function after 10 hours of ironing.
1. Position the iron above a sink or on a metal basin that can withstand the heat of
the iron.
2. Set the thermostat to maximum temperature.
3. Set the steam control knob to the self-cleaning point.
4. Let the steam escape for about 1 minute.
Note: Very hot water will come out of the sole. Do not touch during self-cleaning.
Replacement of the anti-lime scale filter
The anti-lime scale filter must be changed at least every 2 years. (or less
depending on the frequency of use and hardness of the water in the area.)
Open the filter housing located on the top of the base.
Remove the scale filter from its location.
Replace the used filter with a new one, replace it correctly and close the lid of the
filter compartment.
