Operating conditions 

Set the alarm clock in a dry interior and protected from direct sunlight.

 

Ensure that the mains 

plug is freely accessible in order to quickly disconnect the device from the mains in case of a 

fault. 

 

Initial operation 

1.  Connect the included power supply with the socket on the backside 

2.  Alternatively you can use batteries. Open the clocks battery compartment cover. 

3.  Insert 2 x AAA batteries observing 

polarity [ “

+

” and “ 

“ marks] and close the clocks 

battery compartment cover.  

4.  When you insert the batteries, all icons on the LCD display will light up for 3 seconds, you 

will hear a beep tone and the clock detects indoor temperature. 

5.  Then the clock will enter the radio controlled time signal reception mode. 

 

Inserting batteries 

In order to keep your settings on the device when you take the device off the mains, the radio 

alarm can also be operated with batteries. 

1.  Open the clocks battery compartment cover and remove the old batteries. 

2. 

Insert 2 x AAA batteries observing polarity [ “+” and “ –“ marks] and close the clocks 

battery compartment cover.  

 

Backlight and Projection function 

A permanent projection and a permanent background lighting in the display are only possible 

during operation with the power supply.
