Carry out the above steps on both the sides of the
machine.

Slacken the belt tension by backing off the
two screws

which act on the rear machine
roller, using an 8-mm hex wrench.
Slacken the screws acting by turns on
both the sides of the machine so that the
rear roller is always parallel to the front
one and to avoid to damage the roller
bearings.
