DISASSEMBLING THE ALTERNATOR BRUSHES

Figure 7.12-1

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.7. “Disassembling the right and left side
casings” for the left side casing only.

Disconnect cable

from the alternator

2.

Unscrew BRUSH group fixing screw

b

using

a medium Phillips screwdriver.

3.

Remove the BRUSHES.

To reassemble the BRUSHES, carry out the
above steps in reverse order.
