- Do not place any burning objects, such as lit candles, on top of the receiver.
- Do not expose the device to water droplets or water spray, and do not place
any objects filled with liquid, such as vases, on top of it. If water gets into
the unit, immediately disconnect the mains plug and inform the service
department.
- Do not operate sources of heat near the device that can additionally heat it up.
- Do not obstruct the ventilation slots with any objects.
- Use only accessories approved for the device.
- Check the power adapter with cable regularly for damage and do not use it if
it is damaged. Only use the power adapter provided.
- When removing the power supply unit from the power outlet, pull on the plug,
not the cable.
- This device is not intended to be used by people (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or they have been instructed by them as to how to use the device.
- Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Handling batteries
- Only operate the device using the batteries approved for this device.
- Normal batteries may not be charged. Batteries may not be reactivated using
other means, disassembled, heated or disposed of in an open fire (explosion
hazard!).
- Clean the battery contact and device contacts prior to inserting them.
- There is an explosion hazard if a battery is inserted incorrectly.
- Only replace batteries with the correct type of batteries and the correct model
number.
- Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions. Do not place them on
radiators, or expose them to direct sunlight.
- Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact
with the skin. In this case use suitable protective gloves. Clean the battery
compartment with a dry cloth.
- If the device is not being used for a prolonged period, remove the batteries.
