Introduction

This User Guide is designed to assist you with the installation, operation and maintenance of the Technimount

Cardiatek Bracket, Cardiatek Wall Mount System and Cardiatek Floor Mount System. Please read this User Guide

thoroughly before using this equipment. To ensure the safe operation of this equipment, it is recommended to train

staff prior to use.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Technimount Cardiatek Mounting System is the only universal solution to mount the Automated Impella

Controller (AIC) in different applications such as, on surface, floor, cot/stretcher and wall systems. It can fit any ground

and air ambulance configuration in North American and European markets. It is designed to securely support and

transport the AIC in pre-hospital and hospital environments. When used in emergency vehicles with a cot/stretcher,

the Cardiatek Bracket can be positioned on Technimount’s Safety Arm System, on a universal standard base, or with

Technimount’s Cardiatek Floor Mount or Cardiatek Wall Mount Systems which provide a higher flexibility for different

EMS protocols and applications.

CARDIATEK BRACKET

The Cardiatek mounting bracket is designed for the Automated Impella Controller (AIC) device. This Technimount

solution is a flexible system that can be used in different applications, such as on surface, floor, cot/stretcher, and

wall systems. With the use of the floor mount, this bracket is compatible with the floor platform of air ambulances in

Europe. The wall mount and bracket can be used for ground ambulances in Europe and North America. The Cardiatek

Bracket is compatible with all of Technimount’s products.

CARDIATEK WALL MOUNT

The Cardiatek Wall Mount is designed for the Automated Impella Controler (AIC) mounting bracket. It is comprised of

a high-density aluminum frame that includes a micro base to accommodate the small anti-rotation disc on the back of

the mounting bracket. Four quick release clamps are used to secure the wall mount on ground ambulance wall rails in

Europe and North America. The Cardiatek Wall Mount is compatible with all of Technimount’s products.

CARDIATEK FLOOR MOUNT

The floor mount is designed for floor rails of air ambulances in Europe. The system is comprised of a high-density

aluminum plate with T-shape handles with stainless steel plungers for easy installation into the floor rails. The floor

mount with a Technimount standard base can accommodate the Cardiatek mounting bracket, as well as a multitude of

different medical devices that have a Technimount bracket and bottom disc. The Cardiatek Floor Mount is compatible

with all of Technimount’s products.

INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT

The Caridatek System is a mounting solution to securely transport the Automated Impella Controller during intra and

inter-hospital transport. It is designed to be installed on the equipment as described in this user guide. This equipment

is for crew who has received the appropriate training necessary to operate the equipment in the field according to its

intended use as outlined in this user guide.
