Scene Mode [

You can select the scene mode according to the shooting scene. There are 4 available
modes in Scene Mode:

J
] Night Scene: This mode allows you to take photographs of people against a dusk or
night-time background.
[
h
] Landscape: This mode allows you to take photographs of distant scenery or
landscapes.
[
H
] Portrait: Select this mode to make people stand out with the background
out-of-focus.
[
I
] Sport: This mode allows you to shoot fast moving objects.
1. Rotate the mode dial to

and turn your
camera on by pressing the
S
button.
2. Press the
e
button.
3. Use
x
or
y
to select the desired scene mode.
4. Press the
e
button to confirm the selection.
5. Compose your subject within the focus frame.
6. Press the shutter button to capture the image.
Shutter Speed Priority Mode [

]
If you set a fast shutter speed, you can capture images of moving subjects that look as
if they are still. If you set a slow shutter speed, you can capture images that give the
impression that the subject is in motion.
1. Rotate the mode dial to

and turn your
camera on by pressing the

button.
2. Press the

3. Set the aperture value with

, and press

button.
4. Compose your subject within the focus frame.
5. Press the shutter button to capture the image.
