DISPLAY TIME
1. Press
the
Time
button to display the time at the top of the screen while not in text mode.
2. The time will disappear after a few seconds.
USING DTV FOR THE FIRST TIME
DTV allows you to access a wide range of digital channels.
All buttons are located on the remote control.
1. Press the
DTV/TV
button on the remote control. The
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION screen is displayed.
2. Use
the
buttons to choose either AUTOMATIC
SEARCH or MANUAL SEARCH. An Automatic Search
will search all available channels. A Manual Search
will only search a specifi ed channel. An Automatic
Search is recommended.
3. Press
the
OK
button to continue. The AUTOMATIC
SEARCH SCREEN will appear and list the channels as
they are found. A bar appears below the listing panel
that indicates the progress of the channel search.
4. When all available radio and television stations have been found, the channel at the top of the
list will be viewed. An information box for the TV station playing is displayed for a short time.
The installation process can be run again from the SETTINGS menus, see page 27.
SELECTING AND EDITING CHANNELS
You can change channels by using any one of the following methods:
• Electronic Program Guide
• Channel browse buttons
• The numeric buttons
• Channel list
The Channel List also enables you to delete, edit and add channels to a list of favourites.
Electronic Program Guide
The Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) provide the user with three different ways of displaying
channel information. The three different EPGs are NOW/NEXT, LIST SCHEDULE and TIMELINE
SCHEDULE.
1. To display the selected EPG, press the
EPG
button. The display will show the default EPG. The
default EPG is NOW/NEXT.
2. To change to the LIST SCHEDULE, press the
blue
button.
3. To change to the TIMELINE SCHEDULE, press the
yellow
button.
