How to eliminate errors
If the device does not work as intended, check the following tables. If you
cannot solve the problem even after the described checks, please contact the
manufacturer.
Problems with the device
Symptom
Possible cause / remedy
Device

switched on.
The device is not supplied with power.
Connect the power cord properly to the power
outlet.
Insert unused batteries.
There is no sound to be
heard.
Increase the volume. Possibly the wrong source
has been chosen.
Remove the audio cable from the external
AUX
–IN connection.
There is a noise sound.
In the vicinity of the device a mobile phone or
other device sends out interfering radio waves.
Remove the mobile phone or the device from
the vicinity of the device.
Other operating faults,
loud
noises
or
a
disrupted display will
occur.
Electronic components of the device are faulty.
Unplug the power cord.
Leave the unit disconnected from the power
source for approx. 10 seconds.
Reconnect the unit or insert the batteries.
The display does not
turn on.
Turn on a device.
Unplug the mains plug, reinsert it, switch on the
device.
