1 Remove the pressure from the sensor installation location.
2 Unscrew the closing screw from the special ball valve.
3 Place the enclosed O-ring on the assembly pin. Only use one O-ring.
When replacing sensors, replace the old O-ring with a new one.

Using the assembly pin, turn the O-Ring into the bore hole of the closing screw with a
rotating movement.
5 Place the O-ring in its final position using the other end of the assembly pin.
6 Fit the assembly pin with the sleeve end over the temperature sensor as far as it goes.
7 Clasp the temperature sensor with both halves of the plastic screw directly above the
assembly pin. Press the halves together so that the two pins from one half fit into the
drill holes for the other half of the plastic screw.
8 Place the temperature sensor with the plastic screw in the bore hole of the closing
screw and tighten it hand-tight. Do not use any tools for this!
Functional check
1 Open the shut-off valves in the inlet and outlet.

Check the leak tightness of the union piece connector.
3 Press the button on the meter to switch on the display.
Final tasks
1 Apply seals to the union piece connectors and both temperature sensors.
Wall-mounted computer unit (optional)
The computer unit can be removed from the volume measuring section to simplify instal-
lation or meter reading. Pull the computer unit off upwards for this purpose.
Attach the optional wall bracket (set article no. 130025) with the flat surface on the wall
side. Place the computer unit on the wall bracket.
Alternatively, the computer unit can be installed without a wall bracket using commercially
available cable ties at a suitable location which is not tempered.

The cable length between the volume measuring section and the computer unit
is max. 47 cm and cannot be changed!
The display must be accessible at all times and readable without further aids!
The computer unit may only be installed on cold surfaces or pipes with a maximum
surface temperature of 30°C!
M-Bus version connection
1 Lay cable to the branching socket.

Connect the blue and white cable. Any polarity can be used here.
3 Close the branching socket and seal it.
Optional parametrisation can be made via TAVO.
