Prerequisites:
• Meter with radio module: Distance from power supply lines ≥ 300 mm.
• Shut-off devices for later meter exchange.
• Switch off devices connected on the supply network in order to avoid damages from
overpressure or overtemperature.
Assembly of new meters:
1 Rinse the pipelines thoroughly.

Close the shut-off device before the connector.
3 Take precautions to ensure no devices connected to the pipeline are damaged (e.g.
disconnect boiler, remove fuses).
4 Empty the pipelines.
5 Only for assembly in in-wall connection housing with the foamed mounting aid:
Shorten the mounting aid to the required length.
6 Place the dismantling spanner with the hexagon shank end on the temporary cover
and unscrew it.
8 Grease the connector's sealing surfaces and the measuring capsule’s screw thread
lightly with tap grease.

Screw the measuring capsule into the connector until the O-ring
lies on the sealing surface.
10 Unscrew the measuring capsule with the assembly spanner (art.
no.: 160 007) by

turn (hand-tight).
11 Open the shut-off device slowly and bleed the pipelines via the
tap connection.
12 Switch on the boiler and/or the fuses again.
