Fit the protrusion of the guide wheel into the notch of the ribbon core (take-up side).

Pull the knob and set the ribbon core to the spring guide wheel.

The printer is capable of printing in both direct thermal and thermal transfer modes.

DO NOT LOAD a ribbon when using a direct thermal paper.

Turn the power off and open the top cover.

Move the head release lever toward the front of the printer and raise the print head block.

WARNING!

Be careful when handling the print head as it becomes very hot.
