INSTALLING THE REAR WHEEL
Installation is the reverse procedure of removing the
rear wheel. NOTE: Make sure that the chain is on
the small cog as you position the rear wheel in the
dropouts.
Check that you have the correct clamping pressure
(Quick Release Lever).
If you have axle nuts make sure they are tightened
correctly.
Ensure that the Quick Release Lever is positioned as
shown to prevent the lever from releasing whilst riding.
When repositioning the wheel in the frame make sure
that it is centrally located to prevent ‘rubbing’ of the
wheel on the frame.
WARNING: Failure to properly reinstall a wheel may result in a
crash.
SEAT POST QUICK RELEASE
Many tricycles are equipped with quick release seat
post clamps. The seat post quick release clamps work
exactly like the Wheel Quick Release.
See
Adjusting
the
Quick
Release
Mechanism.
Follow the steps described to adjust the height of your
seat post.
WARNING: The full force of the cam action is needed to clamp
the seat post securely.
