If an appropriate adapter (see illustration) is plugged into the port (5) correctly, this

connection is waterproof and dustproof. Do not change or plug in the adapter in the rain or,

for example on the beach, as water, sand or dirt could get inside. If water or sand/dust

penetrates inside, this can lead to short-circuits or mechanical damage. These are not

covered by the warranty.

WARNING!

Never use any other adapter, even if they fit the port! The polarity and wiring

may be different, and this would result in the likely destruction of the connected device

and/or the smarT.power.

This is an example of what a correctly connected micro USB

adapter looks like. The adapter

must be fully inserted.
