SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in, or tripping over a
longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
•
The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least 16 ampere. An extension cord of less than 16 ampere
could overheat and get damaged.
•
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over.
BEFORE USE
•
Unpack the appliance and accessories, then wash and wipe these accessories.
•
It is normal if some smoke or smell emanates from the appliance when using it for the first time. Therefore, we
advise you to use your appliance empty for a few minutes before the first use.
USE
•
Plug the unit into the power supply socket.
•
In order to get better cooking performance, it is recommended to pre-heat the oven about 10 - 15 minutes.
•
Use the desired accessories (baking tray, grill rack) according to the purpose.
•
Put the food in the oven.
•
Turn the thermostat know on the desired temperature (100°C - 230°C).
•
Turn the function selector knob to the desired heating mode (Heat from above, from below or combined).
•
Turn the timer knob on the desired cooking time. The indicator light will illuminate as the appliance is heating.
•
You will hear a signal when the cooking time has elapsed. The appliance will switch off automatically and the
indicator light will go out.
•
For the oven to heat continuously; turn the timer knob to the STAY ON position.
•
To stop cooking before the end of the timer or when in STAY ON function, turn the timer knob to OFF.
•
Carefully open the door, preferably using oven gloves.
•
Remove the food using appropriate utensils. To take out the grill rack and the baking tray, make use of the carrying
handle.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow to cool down.
•
Wipe the tray, rack and turnspit with absorbent paper towels or a soft cloth and a little detergent.
•
Make sure no water comes on the oven door when the glass window is still hot.
•
Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
•
Never immerse the appliance in water and make sure no water or damp penetrates into the appliance.
