
Scan Modes
There are scan modes available that have to selected via the optional software.
Time
: Time-Operated-Scan –
scanning stops for a certain time on an occupied channel and
then continous, regardless if further signals are received on this
channel or not.
Carrier
: Carrier-Operated-Scan –
once an occupied channel is found, scanning stops until the
signal ends, then scanning continous.
Seek
: Search-Scan -
scanning stops as soon as an occupied channel has been detected.
InterPhone Mode
only in the -COM version is the option VFO, i.e. frequencies can be manually set
at the radio, available.

PowerOn Msg
message with a max. of 5 symbols that appears temporarily after turning the radio
on.

Battery Save
settings: On / Off
during active status, the symbol SAVE is displayed - if no signal is received or
transmitted, the stand-by mode is activated.
BEEP
settings: On / Off
each key push, except for PTT, is confirmed with a double-tone. In the activated
status, the bell symbol appears in the display.
Roger Tone
settings: On / Off
In the activated status, the three-part roger beep is transmitted automatically
after release of the PTT key (9).
LAMP
illumination of the LCD
settings: ON / OFF / AUTO
ON
: contineous background light
OFF
: no backgroud light
AUTO
: after key release temporary background light
Radio Display
select between the mode freely-selectable-radio-frequency and the mode pro-
grammed radio channel
settings: Radio Channel / Radio Frequency
Radio Channel
: recall of, via software programmed, radio channel via
Up / Down keys (3)
Radio Frequency
: set the radio frequency manually via Up / Down keys (3)
LOCK
key lock
settings: On / Off
Once activated, the keys Up

/ Down

(3) are locked. The PTT key, as well
as the multi function keys PF1 and PF2 are availalble.
The active status is indicated by the lock symbol, in the upper left corner.
Please note: the keylock can only be deactivated via software.
VOX Gain Level
sensitivity of the VOX function
settings: level 1 - 8; level 8 means max. sensitivity
VOX Delay Time
in VOX mode the remaining time in VOX mode after end of signal can be set
settings: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 seconds
VOX Inhibit on Receive
stops the VOX function upon receipt of signals
Cancel code squelch when press PTT
cancels the 5-tone selective call when pushing the PTT key
Inhibit Receiver When Radio Working
deactivates the receiver as soon as the FM radio is activated
