Wall Mounting
Use of the folding supports
If you want to, you can mount the unit on a wall.
You need to have hooks available that snugly fit into
the hanging holes in the back of the unit.
Precaution:
<
Be aware of the best possible direction for receiving
AM broadcasts (this unit has no AM anntena you
can turn around).
1. Use the supplied guide sheet to mark the exact
drilling points on the wall.
2. Drill holes in the wall at the marked points.
3. Screw your hooks into the wall.
4. Using the hanging holes in the back of the
unit, carefully hang it onto the hooks.
Note:
<
Ensure that the unit locks onto the hooks and that
the hooks are strong enough to support the weight
before releasing the hands.
For better stability in using the unit on a table or other
flat surface, you can pull out the pair of hinged
supports, as shown.
<
File names of MP3 should be alphanumeric
characters. This unit cannot display symbols and
full-size or 2 bytes-wide characters (such as
Japanese, Chinese, etc.) correctly. Also, be sure to
use the file extension “.mp3”.
<
The disc must be finalized in order to play.
<
The CD-ROM must be ISO 9660 compatible.
<
When more than 200 files or folders are recorded
on the disc, the unit might not be able to play it
correctly.
<
Mono or stereo MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 format, 44.1
or 48 kHz, fixed bit-rate.
<
Audio encoded at 128 Kbps should sound close to
regular audio CD quality. Although this player will
play lower bit-rate MP3 tracks, the sound quality
becomes noticeably worse at lower bit-rates.
