Basic operation (1)

Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit
ON.
o
When the unit is ON, the ring around the button
lights blue .
o
In order to prevent sudden loud noises, turn the
amplifier ON last .

As shown in the illustration to the right, hold the
disc by its edges with the labeled side up and insert
it partway.

Push the disc in further until just before it disap-
pears. It will automatically be drawn in to the slot.

Press the Play/Pause (

) button to start
playback.
o
During MP3 playback, “MP3” appears on the display .
During WMA playback, “WMA” appears on the display .
During audio CD playback, nothing appears on the
display .
