FAVOURITE MODE
There will be some channels that you tend to watch more often and some only occasionally.
Although some duplicate or scrambled channels you may want to delete from the channel list,
others although not watched frequently, you will not want to do away with altogether. The
favourite mode allows the most-watched channels to accessed more easily, leaving the less-
watched channels accessible but out of the way.
Use “ “ or “ ” keys to turn on/off favourite mode. If the ‘Favourite Mode’ is on, in normal
operating mode pressing “ P+ ” and “ P - ” keys will only navigate ONLY through the channels
that were previously defined as favourites in Channel Table.
Also Electronic Program Guide will ONLY list favourite channels. Favourite mode has no effect
on switching to channels by pressing numeric keys.
If you type channel number when channels are in name sorted mode, or if you type LCN
number when channels are in LCN sorted mode in normal mode, the TV directly switches to
that channel if only a channel having the number typed exists. If the favourite mode is off then
EPG and navigation works for all channels without regarding if they are set as favourite or not.
To turn on favourite mode there must be at least one channel set as favourite in the channel
table.
Display the Channel List menu screen by highlighting Channel List on the Main Menu and
pressing “
SELECT ” key. Use the “ “ or “ ” keys to highlight the “Favourites” button at
the base of the screen and then, in turn, highlight each channel that is required to be a favourite
channel, using the “ “ and “ ” keys (and the “ ” or “ ” keys), and press “
SELECT ”
key. A channel selected as a favourite appears in the main channel list with a favourites icon
“
” against the channel name.
