If you are programming CD, SACD or VCD, go to step

If you want to program titles of DVD, press the RIGHT button to
select "Program Title" tab. You cannot select both.

When no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the program mode
will be cancelled.
Press the DOWN button.
The cursor goes to the program list window.

If "Program Chapter" is selected and you want to select
another title, press the UP button to move the cursor to the title
input section, and input the title number by pressing the
numeric buttons. The cursor go back to the program list
window automatically.
Press the numeric button to select a title/chapter/track.

Repeat this step to program more.

If you are programming CD, SACD or VCD, go to step

You can program a pause by pressing the PAUSE button (
J
).
Note that a pause cannot be programmed at the first or last of
the program list, and pauses cannot be programmed
successively. Depending on the disc, the title menu might
appear instead of pause.

If you made a mistake, press the CLEAR button. The last
programmed number will be deleted.

The chapters must be selected from the same title.
<
Track numbers over 100 on SACD cannot be programmed.
If you are programming DVD-Video, select on or off of
"Program Memory" by pressing the DIRECTION buttons and
the ENTER button.

If you want to save the program list, select on. The program list
will be automatically recalled when you load the disc next
time.
Up to 24 latest discs can be memorized.
When programming has been finished, press the PLAY button
or the ENTER button within 30 seconds.

If you want to start programmed playback later, press the
PROGRAM button instead.

At the changeover of chapters, a chapter that wasn't
programmed may appear momentarily. This is not a
malfunction.
