This function is provided for supporting Karaoke.
DVD
While you are playing a DVD disc with different channels recorded,
press the AUDIO button repeatedly to select the following audio
modes.
Enjoying Karaoke only with the accompaniment
For some DVD Karaoke discs, the vocal is recorded as well as the
accompaniment. Selecting “NO VOCAL” may turn off the vocal and
only output the accompaniment, so you can enjoy Karaoke only with
accompaniment.
Enjoying Karaoke with partner
For some DVD discs, duet vocals are recorded. Activating “LEFT
VOCAL” or “RIGHT VOCAL” to select “Female partner” or “Male
partner”, so you can enjoy practicing duets.

For some VCD Karaoke discs, the vocal and accompaniment are
recorded in different channels. Selecting “MONO LEFT” or “MONO
RIGHT” may turn off the vocal and only output the accompaniment,
so you can enjoy Karaoke only with accompaniment.
Enjoying Karaoke with partner
For some VCD discs, duet vocals are recorded in different channels.
Activating “MONO LEFT” or “MONO RIGHT” to select “Female
partner” or “Male partner”, so you can enjoy practicing duets.

Some VCD discs are recorded with dual audio languages. By
