When using via RS485
When operating the EZA via RS-485, follow the procedure below according to the items in the
Quick Manual Basic Part 7, 8 and Operation Manual.
Set EZA to operation via RS-485 and the address on RS-485 to "0", the
communication speed to 19.2 kbps.
Set the terminal voltage on both the grid side and the battery side of the
EZA to 0 V, and then set as shown in the photo under the DIP switch on
the back.
Apply a voltage of 120V or more to the EZA grid and battery terminals. If you want
to start the control board by applying voltage to CN pin 16 “24Vi”, apply 24V to pin
16. This operation is not necessary if the DIP switch and rotary switch are not
operated.

Restart the control board.

Set EZA to operation via RS-485.
Set the rotary switch on the front panel as shown in the picture below.

communication manual p6.
The control board reads the values of DIP switch and rotary
switch at restart.
The control board can be activated simply by applying a voltage
of 120V or higher to either the battery side or the grid side.
When the control board is activated, the green LED that is visible
through the punching metal on the back panel, lights up.
