EZA11K series
Quick Manual / Practical(I)
10) Constraint of operating voltage range (HVDC, LVDC)
EZA may not be able to control current and voltage depending on the combination of
battery side (LVDC) and grid side (HVDC).
Therefore, it is necessary to control the system so that the voltage of EZA is within the line
shown in the figure below. Outside this line, EZA will not be able to control current and
voltage. In the Limited Area, the output current is halved and a warning is issued. The
operation stops at the outside of the line and in the stop area, and a heavy alarm is issued
the outside the operation range.
In order to check the warning issued in the current limit area, it is necessary to
query the converter status (CST) from EZA11K via RS485. For details, refer to p19 of
the communication manual.
During the current limit, EZA11K sets the converter status (CST) bit12 to “1”, and
limits the maximum output current on the battery side to 25A and the maximum
output current on the grid side to 20A.
