1. Remove the nut with the tool, and then unscrew the screws from the left and right sides of the air duct cover
plate with the screwdriver;
2. Move slightly the upper end of the cover plate manually till the buckle is removed, and then remove the air duct
cover plate and the air duct foam;
3. Unplug the air duct assembly connector manually, move the jaws around the air duct cover plate slightly, and
separate the air duct cover plate of the refrigerator compartment from the foam as shown in the illustrated red area;
4. Tear down the masking tape from the air duct foam manually, separate the upper member from the lower
member of the air duct foam assembly, and take out the damper for replacement (the plastic air duct back panel as
the single damper, and metal back panel as the double damper);
5. Pay attention to sealing the joints of the air duct assembly to prevent air leakage during the installation.
