This setup shows how 4 Konnekt 24D units are hooked
up via FireWire. With this setup you have up to 4 times
as many inputs/outputs as with a single unit.
• If you have more than one Konnekt device on the
FireWire bus, only one of them can be bus-powered;
the others need external power supply. In this
example, all of them use the external power supply.
• Connect the units using standard FireWire cables and
connect one of the units to the computer also using a
FireWire cable.
• Since the computer acts as master controller when
there are multiple devices attached, it is not possible
to work with more devices in stand alone mode (when
the computer is off or not attached)
