Changing battery
– Unscrew the thumb-screw on the back of the pedal and detach the back-plate.
Unmount the old battery and attach the new battery to the battery clip making sure the polarity is
correct. Then remount the back-plate. To save battery life, remove the input jack when you don’t play.
Batteries must never be heated, taken apart or thrown into fire or water. Only rechargeable
batteries can be recharged. Remove the battery when the pedal is not being used for a longer
period of time. Dispose batteries according to local laws and regulations.

The Controls
FX LEVEL
Controls the intensity of the chorus. The chorusing effect occurs when a pitch modulated signal – think
vibrato – is played adjacent to a clean signal. Therefore the max chorus intensity is achieved at a 50%
wet/dry mix. With Corona, this is achieved by setting the FX level fully clock-wise.
SPEED
The SPEED knob sets the chorus speed – from slow smooth “Hi-Fi” to much more significant “Leslie”
types at high speed.
DEPTH
DEPTH sets the range of the modulation. Experiment with both the SPEED and DEPTH controls to get
the effect you are looking for.
TONE
By adjusting the tone you can set how warm you chorus should sound. When using high settings on
both speed and depth for that “leslie-type” sound you might want to emphasize the lower frequencies
over the higher ones. Try turning TONE counter clock wise.

Connecting
Input jacks
- Use MONO for mono input and both MONO
and STEREO if connecting a stereo source.
If you run the pedal on battery, we recommend removing
the mono input jack to preserve battery power when you
don’t play.
Output jacks
– Connect to another pedal or directly into
an amp or mixer. Use MONO for mono setups and both
MONO and STEREO for stereo setups.
Notice that it is possible to select between true bypass and
buffered bypass mode via a dip switch located under the
battery cover.
Power in
– Use a 9 VDC power supply with the following
symbol:

Connect to a computer using the supplied USB cable for
upload of TonePrint patches.
The connector-type is Mini-B.
CHORUS
Standard chorus inspired by the legendary TC Stereo Chorus Flanger.
TRI (Tri-Chorus)
The Tri-Chorus is a variation of the regular Chorus that uses three stereo Choruses with various offsets
for both depth, speed, phase, and chorus delay time to produce a unique, very broad and lush Chorus
sound.

Consider the knobs and switches on your pedal as a few handles that actually control a large number
of parameters. TC Electronic staff has defined the controls, - but wouldn’t it just be cool to let the
world’s leading guitar players contribute with their own definition of how the controls should work?
YES - this is TonePrint. We allow top guitar players to dig out the pedals’ hidden tonal potential,
re-define the controls and make their own TonePrints. These TonePrints are available for you, and
uploading TonePrints to your pedal is easy.

Connect the pedal to your Mac or PC computer using the supplied USB cable.

Find your pedal at www.tcelectronic.com/pedals and download the TonePrint setting from your
favorite guitar player to a location where you can easily locate it again – e.g. your desktop.

Open the application and press UPDATE.
Now – once you have selected TonePrint, all controls react exactly as defined by the artist that has

Bypass modes and Kill Dry on/off
Unscrew the back-plate and look for the two small dip-switches in the upper left corner.
The upper dip-switch (closest to the DC 9V in connection), switches between True Bypass mode
(default) and Buffered Bypass mode.
True Bypass
– is a hardwire bypass that gives absolutely no coloration of tone when the pedal
is bypassed. Using True Bypass on all pedals is a perfect choice in setups with a few pedals and
relatively short cables before and after the pedals.
Buffered Bypass

If you use a long cable between your guitar and the first pedal, if you use many
pedals on your board and if you use a long cable from your board to the amp, then the best solution

Kill-Dry - off
Kill-Dry - on
will most likely be to activate the buffer in the first and last pedal in the signal chain. Can you hear the
difference between a pedal in True Bypass or Buffered Bypass? Maybe, maybe not, – many factors
apply; active/passive pick-ups, single coil/humbucker, cable quality, amp impedance and more. We
cannot give a single ultimate answer. Use your ears and find the best solution for your setup!
Kill-Dry on/off
– With Buffered Bypass activated (upper switch to the right), the lower dip-switch sets
Kill-Dry on/off. Kill-Dry removes all direct signal from the pedals output and is the mode to use when
the pedal is placed in a parallel effects loop.
Kill-Dry is NOT an option in True Bypass mode.

Die Regler
FX LEVEL-Regler
Mit diesem Regler stellen Sie die Intensität des Chorus-Effekts ein. Der typische, schwebende Chorus-Sound
entsteht , wenn ein tonhöhenmoduliertes Signal (das gewissermaßen ein Vibrato erhält) mit dem
unbearbeiteten Signal gemischt wird. Daher hat der Chorus-Effekt die größte Intensität, wenn trockenes und
moduliertes Signal im Verhältnis 50:50 % gemischt werden. Beim Corona erhalten Sie diese Einstellung, wenn
Sie den FX-Regler bis an den rechten Anschlag drehen.
SPEED-Regler
Mit dem Regler SPEED stellen Sie die Modulationsgeschwindigkeit des Chorus-Effekts ein. Das Spektrum
reicht vom langsamen „Hi-Fi-Sound“ bis zu prägnanten „Leslie-Effekten“.
DEPTH-Regler
Mit dem Regler DEPTH stellen Sie die Intensität der Modulation ein. Um einen bestimmten Effekt zu erzeugen,
sollten Sie zunächst mit den Einstellungen der Regler SPEED und DEPTH experimentieren.
TONE-Regler

Anschlüsse vornehmen
IN-Buchsen (Eingänge)
– Verwenden Sie die MONO-Buchse
für ein Mono-Eingangssignal. Verwenden Sie die MONO- und
STEREO-Buchse, wenn Sie ein Stereosignal bearbeiten. Wenn
Sie das Gerät per Batterie mit Strom versorgen, empfehlen
wir Ihnen, das Audiokabel aus der MONO-Eingangsbuchse
abzuziehen, wenn Sie nicht spielen.
OUT-Buchsen (Ausgänge)
– Verbinden Sie diese Buchsen
mit dem nächsten Pedal im Signalweg oder direkt mit Ihrem
Verstärker oder Mischpult. Wenn Sie nur ein Mono-Signal

CHORUS
Ein normaler Chorus, der vom legendären TC Stereo Chorus Flanger inspiriert wurde.
TRI (Tri-Chorus)
Der Tri-Chorus ist eine Variation des normalen Choruseffekts. Hier kommen drei separate Stereo-Choruseffek

te zum Einsatz, bei denen die Parameter Intensität, Geschwindigkeit, Phase und Verzögerung gegeneinander
verschoben sind. Das Ergebnis ist ein einzigartiger, sehr flächig und warm klingender Chorus.
TonePrint
Die überschaubare Zahl der Bedienelemente an Ihrem Pedal könnte täuschen: Sie erlauben Ihnen Zugriff
auf eine größere Zahl von Parametern. Was diese Regler steuern, wurde von den Entwicklern bei TC
Electronic vorgegeben. Aber wäre es nicht großartig, wenn einige der besten Gitarristen der Welt ihre eigenen
Vorstellungen einbringen könnten, wie diese Regler arbeiten sollen?
Genau dazu dient TonePrint. Wir ermöglichen es Top-Gitarristen, das klangliche Potenzial unserer Pedal

Bypass-Betriebsarten & Kill Dry an/aus
Schrauben Sie die Bodenplatte des Pedals ab. In der oberen linken Ecke sehen Sie zwei kleine DIP-Schalter.
Mit dem oberen DIP-Schalter (der sich näher am Batteriekontakt befindet) können Sie zwischen den
Bypass-Varianten „True Bypass“ (Standard) und „Buffered Bypass“ umschalten.

True Bypass:
True Bypass ist eine Hardware-Bypass-Schaltung. Sie sorgt dafür, dass das Signal das Pedal
unverändert durchläuft, wenn Sie es auf Bypass geschaltet haben. Wenn Sie mit wenigen Pedalen und relativ
kurzen Kabelstrecken zu und zwischen den Pedalen arbeiten, ist True Bypass die beste Wahl.
Buffered Bypass:
Wenn Sie ein langes Kabel zwischen Ihrer Gitarre und dem ersten Pedal verwenden, wenn
Sie viele Pedale verwenden, und wenn Sie ein langes Kabel von Ihrem Effektboard zum Verstärker verwenden,
sollten Sie wahrscheinlich beim ersten und letzten Pedal im Signalweg die Betriebsart „Buffered Bypass“
verwenden. Gibt es einen hörbaren Unterschied zwischen „True Bypass“ und „Buffered Bypass“? Vielleicht,

können Sie mit dem unteren DIP-Schalter die Funktion „Kill Dry“ an- oder ausschalten. Wenn „Kill Dry“ aktiviert
ist, wird das unbearbeitete Audiosignal nicht mehr zum Ausgang des Pedals geleitet. Verwenden Sie diesen
Modus, wenn Sie das Pedal in einem parallelen Effektweg betreiben, das Direktsignal also auf einem anderen
Weg durchleiten. Wenn Sie den Modus „True Bypass“ verwenden, ist „Kill Dry“ NICHT verfügbar.
Batteriewechsel:
Lösen Sie die Batteriefachschraube auf der Unterseite des Pedals und entfernen Sie die

Batterien dürfen niemals erhitzt, in Feuer oder Wasser geworfen oder auseinandergenommen werden.
Nur Akkumulatoren dürfen wieder aufgeladen werden. Wenn Sie das Pedal für längere Zeit nicht
verwenden, entnehmen Sie die Batterie. Beachten Sie beim Entsorgen von Batterien bitte die
diesbezüglichen Gesetze und Bestimmungen in Ihrem Land.
Sustitución de la pila
- Quite el gran tornillo del panel trasero del pedal y extráigalo. Quite la pila
gastada y coloque la nueva pila en la pinza de sujeción de la misma, asegurándose de colocarla con la
polaridad correcta. Vuelva a instalar el panel trasero. Para ahorrar carga en la pila, quite la clavija de la
toma de entrada cuando no toque.
Nunca caliente, ni tire al fuego o al agua una pila. Solo pueden ser recargadas las pilas
recargables. Extraiga la pila cuando no vaya a usar el pedal durante un período de tiempo largo.
Deshágase de las pilas de acuerdo a las normativas vigentes.

Los controles
FX LEVEL
Controla la intensidad del chorus. El efecto chorus se produce cuando una señal modulada en tono,
como el vibrato, es reproducida junto con una señal limpia. Por lo tanto, la máxima intensidad de
chorus se consigue con una mezcla de señal húmeda/seca 50/50%. En el Corona esto se obtiene
girando el mando FX totalmente hacia la derecha.
SPEED
Este mando le permite ajustar la velocidad del chorus. Desde un efecto “hi fi” suave a baja velocidad a
estilos más de tipo “leslie” a velocidades elevadas.
DEPTH
Ajusta el rango de la modulación. Experimente con distintos ajustes de los mandos SPEED y DEPTH
hasta conseguir el efecto que esté buscando.
TONE
Ajustando este tono puede determinar la calidez del chorus. Cuando utilice ajustes elevados de tanto
velocidad como profundidad para un sonido de tipo “leslie”, puede que quiera enfatizar las frecuencias
graves por encima de las agudas. Para ello pruebe a girar el mando TONE a la izquierda.

Este TonePrint le da acceso instantáneo a sonidos exclusivos. Hemos recopilado una completa
alineación de estrellas del mundo de la música para crear presets de los sonidos que los convirtieron
en leyendas. Este TonePrint no se limita a aproximarse a los sonidos de sus ídolos, sino que ¡le ofrece
los sonidos reales!

Conexión
Tomas de entrada
- Use MONO para una entrada mono
y tanto MONO como STEREO si conecta una fuente
stereo. Si le queda poca carga a la pila le recomendamos
que extraiga el conector de esta toma para ahorrar carga
mientras no toque.
Tomas de salida
- conecte esta unidad a otro pedal o
directamente a un amplificador o mesa de mezclas. Use
la toma MONO para montajes mono y tanto MONO como
STEREO para instalaciones stereo.
Tenga en cuenta que puede elegir entre un bypass real y
un modo de bypass por buffer por medio de un interruptor
de posición situado debajo de la tapa para las pilas.

Este selector le permite elegir entre los siguientes tipos de efectos:
CHORUS
Chorus standard inspirado en el legendario TC Stereo Chorus Flanger.
TRI (Tri-Chorus)
Esto es una variación del chorus normal que usa tres chorus stereo con distintos desfases en la
profundidad, velocidad, fase y tiempo de retardo del chorus para producir un sonido chorus amplio,
precioso y exclusivo.
TonePrint
Piense en los mandos e interruptores de su pedal como si fuesen un grupo de asas que le permitiesen
controlar un gran número de parámetros. El equipo de TC Electronic definió los controles, pero ¿no
sería sencillamente maravilloso dejar que los mejores guitarristas del mundo contribuyesen con su
definición de cómo deberían actuar estos controles?.
Pues SI - y eso es el TonePrint. Hemos hecho que los guitarristas más famosos extraigan todo el
potencial de estos pedales, redefinan los controles y creen sus propios TonePrints. Y ahora estos
TonePrints están a su alcance y su descarga en el pedal es muy sencilla.

Conecte el pedal a su ordenador Mac o PC usando el cable USB incluido

Localice su pedal en la web www.tcelectronic.com/pedals y descargue el ajuste TonePrint de su
guitarrista preferido a una ubicación en la que pueda localizarlo fácilmente; p.e. el escritorio.

Abra la aplicación y pulse UPDATE
Ahora, – una vez que elija TonePrint, todos los controles reaccionarán exactamente tal como los
definió el músico que diseñó el TonePrint.
Modos Bypass y Kill-Dry on/off
Quite el gran tornillo del panel trasero y localice los dos pequeños interruptores de posición de la
esquina superior izquierda.
El interruptor de arriba (el más próximo a la conexión DC 9 V), le permite elegir entre el modo de
bypass real (por defecto) y el de bypass por buffer.
Bypass real
– esto es un bypass físico que permite que no haya coloración en el sonido cuando el
pedal esté en bypass. El usar este bypass en todos los pedales es una elección perfecta en montajes
en los que haya pocos pedales y cables relativamente cortos antes y después de ellos.

Si utiliza un cable largo entre su guitarra y el primer pedal o si utiliza muchos

Kill-Dry - off
Kill-Dry - on
pedales en su pedalera y hay un cable largo desde ella al amplificador, entonces la mejor solución
será activar el buffer o memoria temporal en el primer y último pedal de la cadena de señal. ¿Hay
alguna diferencia audible entre un pedal con bypass real y uno por buffer? Bueno, puede que la
detecte o que no – influyen muchos factores. Pastillas activas/pasivas, de bobinado sencillo o
humbucker, calidad del cable, impedancia del amplificador y muchas otras. No podemos darle una
única respuesta. ¡Use sus oídos para encontrar la mejor solución para su caso!
Kill-Dry on/off
– Cuando esté activado el bypass por buffer (con el interruptor de la parte superior
derecha), el interruptor de posición inferior ajustará la función Kill-Dry on/off. Este Kill Dry elimina toda
la señal directa de la salida de los pedales y es el modo perfecto cuando coloque el pedal en un bucle
de efectos en paralelo.
Esta función Kill Dry NO está disponible en el modo de bypass real.
