Hitch Release
The hitch release lever is on the right side
of the seat back. Pull the lever up to raise
the hitch pin. When fully raised the lever will
remain in the raised position.
Rotate the lever a few degrees to the front to
lower the hitch pin.
Do not operate the hitch release lever while on a grade or while the vehicle is in motion.

Decoupling a trailer while in motion may result in unexpected movement of the vehicle
and/or loss of control of the trailer.
•
Decoupling a trailer while on a grade will result in loss of control of the trailer.
The above actions may result in severe personal injury and/or property damage.
WARNING
Hold the release lever and slowly lower
to close the hitch pin. Releasing the
lever and allowing it to freely fall may
cause premature wear to the release
mechanism.
