Automatic Electric Brake Removal and Installation

( Continued )

8. Slide the automatic electric brake off the drive input shaft.
9. Repair or replace components as necessary.
10. Install the new motor or reassemble in reverse order.

NOTE

: Apply a small amount of grease to the input shafts.

11. Reconnect the motor and brake wires.
12. Reconnect the main positive and negative cables at the batteries.
13. Test the brake.
13. Remove the blocks from behind the wheels.
14. Release the park brake and test drive the vehicle.
