V17AFTWcan process 4 different Video signals. Includes Composite Video
( CVBS)

Separate Video(S-Video) and Component Video(YUV). Component Video
also has Y Cb/Cr and Y Pb/Pr two types. And I018 SAA7118 is 16 channels analog
input. There are 4 A/D in it’s I/O port, So it can match with this model.
Example for different of input source signals one by one.(please refer to the circuit
diagram):

(a) TV signals enter from ANT to Pin#1 of IT01 FM1236 MK2 Tuner.
Pin#25 output Audio MPX signal. And Pin#23 output TV CVBS

(b) Audio MPX signal do MTS demodulation from IT03 (TDA9850:
MTS Stereo Sound). It can output Audio signal includes Mono,
Stereo, Sap and so on. TV Audio O/P to I009 (PT2314: Audio
Processor) then through I010 (Audio Power Amp) to Speaker.
(c) The Video signal from QT01 to the V-Chip circuit (I024 NJM2244,
I022 Z86129, I023 74HC126) to modulate. Output to I018 SAA7118
Video Decoder circuit to do modulation and Video source exchange
for CVBS signal type. Then CVBS signal change to the ITU-656 type
by I018 and output to I019 Scaler to process. This 8 Bit is Data parts,
H sync, V sync, CLK connects to Pin#162,163,164 of Scaler. Then
R, G, B signal respective output six bits to panel.
