• 10 seconds’ sampling function (per deck)

• 3-way loop functions: A-B, SINGLE, and ALL

in 1.0 dB steps).

• Auto cue function (–72, –66, –60, –54, or –35 dB)

• Auto ready function to cue up following tracks

• End of Message function (10, 15, 20, 30, 60, or 90 

seconds).

• Timer play for deck 1 followed by deck 2.

• Relay play allows consecutive playback using both 

decks (as one deck stops, the other can be set to 
start automatically).

• Sleep function (automatic shutdown of the deck 

after 30 minutes of inactivity)

• Tray auto close function can close the tray auto-

matically one minute after the tray is opened

• Fader start

Environmental conditions

 

The TASCAM CD-302 may be used in most areas, 
but to maintain top performance, and prolong operat-
ing life, observe the following environmental 
conditions:

The nominal temperature should be between 5˚C and 
35˚C (41˚F and 95˚F).

Relative humidity should be 30 to 90 degrees non-
condensing.

Make sure that the drive unit is mounted in a level 
position for correct operation.

The units should be mounted, using the supplied rack 
mounting kits. A typical configuration is shown 
below, but other configurations are possible:

NOTE

 

If the disc trays are more than 5 degrees away from 
the horizontal, they will not open or close.
