Warnings
• The device must be prescribed exclusively by a specialist doctor.
• The specialist doctor is responsible for:
1. prescribing the device;
2. indicating the most appropriate setting and adjustments for the user’s needs;
3. prescribing the time period for continual use of the device.
• KID PRO must be adjusted and fitted exclusively by accredited healthcare professionals, orthopaedic
technicians and personnel authorized by Tarta Design Srl. These professionals assume full responsibili-
ty for the correct assembly of the product. Tarta Design declines all liability for damages due to impro-
per installation, improper use, lack of maintenance, and all other circumstances that may endanger the
user’s safety.
• Read the instructions carefully before use. Keep them for future reference. Incorrect use of the product
could cause serious damage to the user.
• Never leave the user unattended on the product. An adult must be constantly present.
• In the event that the device is incomplete or damaged, do not use it and contact the supplier
immediately.
• All adjustments to the positioning of the user on the product and assembly of the accessories should be
carried out in the certainty that all screws, handles, straps and the system for securing KID PRO to the
base are solidly fixed before use.
• Always use the restraint system.
• In case of doubts regarding the device’s use, assembly or safety systems, stop using it immediately and
contact an authorised dealer or Tarta Design Srl.
• Having installed the KID PRO ergonomic backrest on its base, check the stability of the base and en-
sure that the safety lock fixing the backrest to the base is in the correct position and that there are no
evident defects or signs of wear.
• The device should be used solely on perfectly flat and smooth surfaces. Never use it on sloping
surfaces.
• Do not use the KID PRO postural system to push or lift the base from inside or outside. Incorrect use
may cause it to become accidentally detached from the base or the buggy.
• Do not move the base from inside when the child is sitting on the device.
• Never lift the KID PRO by holding the headrest, as this could become detached, causing the device to
fall and risking injury.
• Having adjusted the device as necessary, ensure that the supports are tight enough and that the system
is ready for use.
• Check regularly that the mechanical parts of the device have not become loose or misaligned from
their original positions; if this is the case, have the device checked by an authorised maintenance
technician.
• It is advisable (if possible) to regularly change the user’s position so as to avoid excessive pressure on
one particular part of the body and to make sitting more comfortable.
• Avoid contact with open flames and heat sources: these could damage the device and cause injury to
the user.
• The device should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
• Avoid contact with sharp and/or pointed objects which could cause physical damage to the device,
particularly padded parts and straps.
• KID PRO should not be used in unsuitable circumstances (in situations with high humidity or salinity;
with abrasive and/or corrosive substances etc.).
• Modifications must not be made to the device’s structure and components except by a qualified
technician.
• Always use components and spare parts designed and produced by Tarta Design Srl.
• The height adjustable base is designed for exclusive use with the KID PRO Size 01.
