Storage
At the end of the working season or when the appliance will not be used for a long period, it
is good practice to clean off any dirt or grease that may have accumulated on the appliance
and any of moving parts.
1. Clean as necessary.
2. Check knives for wear and replace if necessary.
3. Inspect the appliance for loose, damaged or worn parts and adjust or replace as needed.
4. The appliance must be stored indoors whenever possible when not in use. Support the ap-
pliance with appropriate stands so that the blades will not touch the ground. Blades and
other processing parts must be lubricated in order to prevent rust. Surfaces with chipped
paint must be repainted in order to prevent rust.
5. Replace all damaged or missing decals.
Bolt torque
The table below gives correct torque values for various bolts and cap screws. Do not grease
or oil bolts or cap screws unless otherwise specified in this manual. Tighten all bolts to the
torques specified unless otherwise noted. Check tightness of bolts periodically using bolt
torque chart as a guide. Replace bolts with the same strength bolt.
