5.8.4 Relay Assignment
The feed scale controller controls the operation of On/Off relays which are
located on external modules. These modules are called TRB. The mapping
between the outputs and the relays is defined by the user. Templates are
available at the end of this manual to make the assignment easier.
Each TRB relay box must have its own ID number so that the feed scale
controller can communicate with it. ID # 3 to 5 are used for this purpose.
The ID number must be posted in the controller as explained in section
5.8.4.1. This ID number must then be set directly on the corresponding
relay box by using jumpers or identification switches.

5.3.3 Ongoing Operations
The following menu gives the actual status of the ongoing operations in
each house.
Hint:
The following menu can quickly be accessed by pressing the corre-
sponding shortcut key.
Select the desired house from the
main menu using the arrow keys.
Press the right-arrow key.
Press the right-arrow key once again
to select the
"1. Information"
menu.
The following pieces of information
are displayed:
Age:
Current age of the birds.
Blend
(or Bin Selection):
Select the type of blend that needs to be distributed in the selected
house. If no blends are used, this number corresponds to the bin #.
Bin Auger:
Indicates which bin auger is currently active.
Only shown while a bin auger is running and if more than 1 bin is used.
Total Weight:
Indicates the amount of feed in the receiving hopper.
Only shown if blends are used.
Actual Weight
: Shows the current weight in the feed scale.
Scale Status
:
Fill
- The scale hopper is presently being filled
Weigh
- The scale weighs the feed.
Dump
- Feed is being dumped into the receiving hopper.
Close
- The scale closes.
Mix
- Feed is being mixed in the receiving hopper.
Send
- Feed is being distributed.
