1. POWER button
Switches on the DVD-HDD
recorder or switches the unit to
standby mode.
2. Open/Close button
Opens or closes the disc tray.
3. DVD button
Toggles to DVD mode (recording
and playback).
4. HDD button
Toggles to HDD mode (recording
and playback).
5. Numeric buttons 0 to 9
To enter digits 0 to 9.
6. DUBBING button
To copy your recording from DVD
to hard disc or vice-versa.
7. Audio button
To change the audio language or
audio channel of the movie.
8. Subtitle button
To change the subtitle language.
9. REC button
Press to start recording
10. REC MODE button
To select the desired recording
mode.
11. SCAN button
To perform a fast forward or
backward search.
12. PAUSE/STEP button
Press to pause playback or to
toggle to frame-by-frame playback.
13. PLAY button
Press to start playback (from HDD
or disc).
14. HOME button
Press to display or hide the main
menu.
15. Up button
Up direction button.
16. Left button
Left direction button.
17. Enter button
Confirms your entry.
18. Down button
Down direction button.
19. DISPLAY button
To display the OSD menu and to
show playback information (title,
chapter, playback time, etc.)
20. TIMESHIFT button
To pause a live TV programme.
21. MARKER button
Press to insert a bookmark during
playback.
22. REPEAT button*
To repeat the current chapter, title,
track or the entire disk contents.
23. ZOOM button*
Press to zoom the picture.
24. TV/DVD button*
To toggle between the signal source connected to the AV2 connector or the built-in
tuner/DVD/HDD picture.

Skips to the next or previous chapter

To stop playback or recording.
35. MENU/LIST button
To display the DVD disc menus. To
toggle between the "Title List-
Original" and "Title List-Playlist"
menus.
36. Right button
Right direction button.
37. RETURN button
To hide a menu.
38. CLEAR button
To delete a track number or a mark
from the marker search menu and to
mark all MP3/WMA files for
programmed playback.
39. SEARCH button
Displays the Marker Search menu.
40. A-B button*
To repeat an interval.
41. THUMBNAIL button*
To select the thumbnail view.
42. VideoPlus button*
Shows the programmed recording
menu for the VideoPlus function.
43. Cover
Slide this cover downwards to gain
access to the REPEAT, ZOOM,
TV/DVD, A-B, THUMBNAIL and
VI buttons.
