Congratulations on your purchase of a Taramps product.
This manual covers all features, operations and instructions to solve any doubt that may arise
during the installation. Please take some time to read it carefully in order to ensure the proper

Featured:
- Over temperature protection: if the temperature increase so much, the system automatic
decreases the output power, avoiding overheating.
- Digital controller by PWM (pulse width modulation) of the transistors IGBT (insulated gate
bipolar transistor) on a HALF Bridge configuration, that provide a great performance and
stability.
- It has 3 voltage levels that can be adjusted through the FINE ADJ. (page 10).
The automotive power supply/baterry charger PRO CHARGER 250A is a modern and
efficient power converter to battery charger and power suplly of automotive system sound
until 250A.

- Current control: Check all time the current and limit into nominal values.
- Output short circuit protection. CAUTION: NEVER REVERSE OUTPUT POLARITY.

5-Do not install the source in a place with direct sunlight.
1- Never use extensions with smaller gauge than recommended. Make sure that the wall
outlet and the mains supply the power required for the power supply (see page 10).
2- For the power supply to have the expected efficiency, the voltage of the outlet must be
above 190V (220V network).
3- Install the source in a firm and airy place. Never install it on the sides of speakers due to
vibration.
4- The power supply has no user serviceable parts inside. Do not open it, risk of electric shock.
