6.5.
Tightening torques
Checking of the tightening torques is necessary after periods of stoppage, when temperature
variations are a factor or after transport and maintenance of the pump.
What is more for proper operation and safety the torque values should be checked frequently
as part of preventive maintenance (contact Tapflo for interval proposals). Although pump
applications vary, a general guideline is to re-torque the pump every two weeks.
