9.1 General
1) Effective Length (EL)
: The effective area of each edge defined in table below.

2) Sensor Switch
: All Tapeswitch edge sensors use
Controflex
ribbon switch for actuation.
Ribbon switch devices consisting of a pair of metal conductor plates with an extruded jacket
of soft PVC.
3) Lead Wires
: Tapeswitch edge sensors are available with several options regarding cable
style and exits. Not all edge sensors will have identical cable style depending on normal
standard (see

for standard cable) and/or specific application
