EMOVING
THE

APE
D
RIVE
To remove the tape drive from the autoloader:
1.
Locate the tape drive cover plate at the back of the autoloader (see
Figure 1
).
2.
Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the cover plate (see
Figure 2
). Set the cover plate and screws aside.
3.
Disconnect the power cable, SCSI or IDE/ATAPI cable, and serial cable from the tape drive
(see
Figure 3
). Route the cables downward and away from the sides of the tape drive.
